It has been a loooong week. A long few weeks, actually, which is why I haven’t posted a damn thing in nearly a month; but this week has been particularly bonkers.

That sounds like lots of fun ... I was amazed I tell you, honestly amazed, to learn that Pyramid is still open.

It is indeed, and its dark magic is just as strong as ever. One of the other swimmers there brought some random straight-girl coworkers along; late into the evening we looked over and discovered that one of them was dancing in her underwear, her kicky sundress draped neatly across some sound equipment.

I have never done so, but I strongly suspect that I am, in fact, that sort of person. Plus whenever you post updates on where you're going to be I find myself thinking, _you know, sooner or later I need to crash one of these parties._ And that is probably a significant data point.

A group of folks descended on our apartment on Saturday night, including a 21-year-old. Yes, born in....1985.

At least I was able to tell him that I've been out longer than he's been alive.

I'm developing me some new crotchety muscles.
