My paper started with it focusing on Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys novels but it expanded much further into discussions on homosexuality, environment v. motivation determines success, and Little Women. I was making a point of something having to do with homosexuals not gain the civil rights they deserve over night but slowingly they do get them. I made the connection with Horatio Alger's book Ragged Dick and how he was only able to advance himself slightly dispite all his efforts and I was calling to ask what position or compensation he did receive in the end of the book but I couldn't get ahold of you. Thanks anyways.
