Hmmm...that was interesting. But the mouse did look a little stiff....I guess my mind has been poisoned by exposure to the work of Masters like John Hunter. He was just brilliant at anatomical preservation. Like Sasori's, his work truly does straddle the boundries between anatomical science and art. There are some truly extraordinary mice and rats in the Hunterian collection. However, they are wet specimens and it's not exactly taxidermy as such....

I don't think youshould dress specimens however; but then I don't think you should dress live animals either. If you want to dress something up, get yourself a doll. They LOVE being dressed up. ;)
