Found on a can of mixed nuts today:
"Alergen Warning: May contain traces of nuts."

WHAAAAT?! TRACES OF NUTS?!!? FOR THE LOVE OF SPAM AND TWINKIES; IT'S A CAN OF NUTS!

Yea, I had the same reaction. At least Wal-Mart's trail mix says "Caution: Product contains nuts."

The trail mix, I can see. It Is possible that someone doesn't know what it in "trail mix" but some of these.... Perhaps it is more of a reminder to poeple without allergies who might be buying for enteraining purposes, kinda a last ditch reminder "hey! Your friends may be allergic to THIS!" But still it seems very odd.

Yea, I just get annoyed at the "may" part of these. It's right in the ingredients, and if it doesn't contain nuts (or milk, etc..) I'm going to be annoyed.

Maybe what looks like nuts are faux nuts made of tofu and only have traces of nuts for flavoring!
