I repeated 2nd grade because I moved from Akron to Stow. Stow's education was on a higher level then Akron's by 3times. I would imagine EDUCATION is more important then when you LEAVE school...

Is this the same person who wants children in school 24/7 and to get rid of music and art programs? :P

I've found that people at a national level in charge of education programs often have no idea what the f*** they're talking about. Completely divorced from the reality they are mandated to fix.

I think they just think all schools are like the posh suburb schools they remember. They don't seem to understand that, in some neighborhoods, getting to school unharmed is an accomplishment.
