GSR Music Video Awards 2008: NOMINATIONS
Hello everyone :D
First of all, thank you SO MUCH to everyone who entered their videos! We have 28 video makers listed, WOOT!! :D So now that CSI and the GSR is back (YAY!!) here comes the time for…
The Nominations
It’s a scary word, I know, but really it’s not XD I figure that if you are interested in those awards, it means you’re enjoying watching (and/or making!) GSR music videos. And among the hundreds of amazing videos you’ve seen through the months (or even years!), I’m sure some have a special place in your… heart XD So, all you have to do now, is take a look at the category list under the cut, and fill it up! :D
If you are not sure which video you want to nominate, don’t hesitate to take a look to the Video Makers List. I know it’s a lot of videos, but they all deserve a chance, they’ve been made with lots of GSR love :D And you can of course nominate someone who isn’t on the list :)
Then, like every contest, there are a few rules, but nothing drastic really ;-)
-- Please, when you nominate, try to fill every category. The more nominations, the merrier when the time to vote comes! :D
-- You can only nominate ONE video per category, so choose carefully!
-- Try to not nominate yourself :) I know your videos rock, but still, we’ll have to ask you to choose something else, and we don’t want to hurt your feelings :p
-- To keep the contest fair, try not to nominate a video in several categories :) But we won't call LH if you do :p
-- Nominate only GSR related videos. Yes, Grillows and Snickers videos are awesome too, but…nah.
-- HAVE FUN!!! :D Watch plenty of videos goodies, have a blast, and then share with us! XD
Categories
1) Favorite Romance video = the video that changed you into a puddle of goo *puddle*
2) Favorite Angst/Drama video = the video that made you cry your heart out :’(
3) Favorite Comedic video = You are still laughing just thinking about this one!
4) Favorite Sara Centered video = All about miss Sidle
5) Favorite Grissom Centered video = All about our Bugman
6) Favorite Short Piece = Any video under 2 minutes is eligible (promos, trailers…)
7) The Sexiest Video = *cold shower after this one*
8) Favorite Post-Dead Doll video = Let’s say it: Sara ROCKED in this episode!! Many awesome videos were made after the Season 8 premiere, which one do you love the best?
9) Favorite Post-Goodbye and Good Luck video = Yes, you are still crying watching the end scene (and the kiss, AHHH!!), and a lot of videos made after this episode still make you bawl…Choose one! :D
10) Best Song Choice/Use of clips = OMG!! This song is just PERFECT for them, and the clips used are so cleverly chosen!
11) Best Editing = Wow. The effects in the one just blew you away O_O
12) Best International video = Because the GSR is loved by fans all around the world, and they use songs from their own country to show it :)) (anything but English, we are okay on that point :p)
13) Best Video Maker of the year = Quality rules over quantity: Who do you think makes the best videos, and deserve the first place?
