I've been sticking to my "little bit" a day regimen with the writing, and like the proverbial tortoise, it's paying off.

Late last year I vowed to concentrate on stories in my backlog that just needed to be fixed. I now have:

• one rewritten story out on the market

Ooo, about the reprint/resale going on, that's very exciting. This tortoise thing; a lot of writers talk about it, and except for the very early days, I never have been a tortoise, which, I think it really is the way to go. The whole hare thing; it seems fine, and maybe for a lot of people it is, but I think the bit by bit thing is really best.

It's working for me. I'd love to be writing more, but getting stressed about it will just lock me up.

After this post, I was queuing up to work on fixing more old stuff, but realized I need to toss those to Fred for new ideas. Sooo, maybe the sword and sorceress thing is going to pop to the top. I do have some ideas that direction. I'll take sometime today and put some notes together!
