The Happiest Placce on Earth, Chapter 21

The following is a story that I have been tinkering with for a year and a half. I have gone back and forth on parts of it. It starts off on a rather heavy note, but lightens up to match the title. I can only “hope” it works for you all.

Pairing: Miranda / Andrea - ‘cause I just can’t seem to care about any others.

An important discussion -- and one couples too frequently don't have. Setting limits -- and inviting exploration -- difficult topics, even when there's not the kind of tough stuff that Andy's had to deal with. Very believable exchange and one that does each of them credit. The sex wasn't bad either *g*.

Pretty intense sex and conversation. I could see why each thought and said what they did. I hope they feel it's worked itself out. And brava to both of them for trying.

Intense sex often leaves people with their defenses down, allowing for some very honest conversation. I think they'll still bounce off each other on occasion, but I also think they have a conncetion that weaves tighter by the hour. Take a freaking A-bomb to blow them apart.

Sensitive chat time. I thought it was very well written. I liked the insight into their thoughts.

I loved this light hearted exchange after all the serious discussions:
“You want to get ‘freaky’?” Andy asked through a goofy grin.
“That’s what you took from this?”
“Ya wanna get ‘freaky’ with me now?”
Miranda rolled her eyes in exasperation, “Oh, what the hell.”

I feel Andy is a very resilient soul. She may get tripped up on occasion, but she's always able to right herself and move along. I also think she has such a love of life that she just can not stay serious for long. This could be very helpful to Miranda. And a conduit between mother and daughters.
