When the fuck are we going to learn?

This was made on May 4 by a 14-year-old boy - Jamey Rodemeyer - who had recently come out at his middle school:

Jamey just started high school. On September 9th, he wrote on his Tumblr: "I always say how bullied I am, but no one listens. What do I have to do so people will listen to me?"

He killed himself on Sunday.

This makes me so very, very sad. And angry with everyone who ever taunted or teased that poor boy.

Tomorrow I'll share this with my son, and his best friend.

How sad that such a beautiful and intelligent boy felt he had to take his own life, (although I would call it "assisted-homocide.")

How many more of these stories are we going to hear before we (all) do something about this? I'm for immediate expulsion of any student that engages in hate speech or violence against another student.
