Thanks for posting this; it had me tearing up.

He was definitely brave for saying this at a city council meeting, but it was what had to be said.

The story about the Ft Worth councilman and snippets of the video have been playing heavily in Dallas/Ft Worth media since his revelation.

Other gay-related stories are cropping up too. As I'm typing this, the NBC TV station here in Dallas just finished airing a piece on the attractiveness of Dallas as a gay travel destination, which included a rep from the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
