Judy Wider on The Advocate

Judy Wieder, the former editor-in-chief of The Advocate, has a piece on Huffington Post about the countless ways the magazine has gone downhill. Now it's being reduced to a mini-magazine and isn't going to be on newsstands anymore.

I found gay magazines unsatisfying even before the internet existed. Now that the internet is around, it never even occurs to me to see what's in The Advocate or Out. All the gay news and information I could possibly want is online, and I don't have to sift through the fluffy crap that fills most of the gay magazines.
