Hey! I just joined this community, and I'm very happy I found it. I'm gay, and I have been looking for a good community where I can get advice from people who know exactly how I feel. My posts commonly reflect just how confused I am about this entire 'sexuality' thing and it really helps if people who understand what I'm going through read and

You'll learn this with time, but ultimately its kind of disappointing to crush straight friends. But don't worry, there are good gay guys out there (I've got one myself, and I know a couple of 'em as friends). It just takes some time before you encounter them unfortunately.
Oh, and don't forget to tag your entry, or Jamie will feed you to Sarah Palin. =P

Thanks so much for telling me about the tags thing. And apparently someone fixed it. If that was you, thanks again. :D
I don't want to be fed to Sarah Palin. I can imagine that her stomach-juices are tobasco sauce and her fangs are the sharpened teeth of orphans.
I don't much like Sarah Palin... btw.

Let me tell you about Kyle. I met him my sophomore year of college. Really good looking (a very nice body), good-natured personality, and kind of smart too. But he was hopelessly straight and had a girlfriend (now wife).
But I can speak from experience that the right guy does eventually come along.

I think there are many of us who can relate to how you're feeling. All I can say is that in many cases, time helps. My family has certainly become more accepting (and open to gay rights) from when I first came out to them. Just hang in there.

Read about David and Jonathan. Obviously no one can say for sure whether or not they were actually gay, but it sure as hell has some homoerotic undertones.

And this is in the Bible?!
Eh.
My mother was just raised to think gay people are evil.
I don't understand how I missed the 'bigot' gene. *ponders*
Anyway. I'm adding ya. O:
Even if you didn't WANT to be added.
You've been added. Deal.

My family seems to have a dominant bigot gene too. It gets better, I promise. Even if they never come around, life is a whole lot easier once you don't live with them.
Haha, you seem fun and snarky. Added you back =)

Feel free to add me to your friends list, if you'd like. I'm actually a straight woman but I have many gay friends, one of whom also came out for the first time when he was fifteen and he told me all about that experience.
