Sorry, guys, but I've been up at the hospital with my mom all day and no laptop. Tomorrow I'm up with her half the day and with laptop, so we shall see. Her prognosis looks good, but that was not how I expected to start, and spend, my day.

Thanks! Yesterday in the ER, one option was to go home. Today, after three different tests, 'rehab' is looking most likely and 'surgery' is not being ruled out. Hoo boy.

Thank you so much. Right now, I want her pain levels down and I want them to finish running the tests to decide how to handle this. Oh, well. Another day up there tomorrow, but she doesn't mind when I bring my laptop. (Actually, she fusses at me to go home, but um, no. When she can reach for things more easily? Sure. When I need to set up her table and such so she can take out hearing aids, et al, and get to water, without hurting more? Sure.)
