And I love how Matthew and the Leverage crew knew/knew about each other to varying degrees. And Parker 's fascination with Matthew's "shiny" blades. And Hardison knowing and being upset about Carl's "death."

From an outside POV? Carl's death is a media case of the excrement hitting the fan blades at great speed from a great height in large quantities.
