ETA: Oh! Does the argument between Matthew and his boss work? I added those at the last second when my brain went, "That needs to go in there..."

Oh, definitely not a complaint! Reaction only. Trust me, that's a good thing--you're wanting me to gnaw my fingernails at this point, aren't you?

And yes, the argument with Matthew's boss worked--made it more real. Not everyone is reasonable and sensible ALL the time, and everything can't always go our heroes' way, even with allies, that's not how life works.

Oh, I just meant does it make sense. No, they don't win every argument. But Matthew's not wrong; he's got to win this one. That will get interesting soon.
