I can't think of anyone else in Highlander fandom who writes Rachel--certainly nobody writes her like this! So very vibrant and leaping right out of the text into life.

And genius to show both the teen and elderly Rachel and reveal the common but unspoken truth--our outsides may change from youth to age, but the core of us is always both young and old at once.

I think it's going to go back and forth a bit more. I have to figure out how in hell Rachel met the Commandos, but hey!

And yes. Rachel is very much herself, at 6 or 76, and some things are core traits!
