Celtic symbolism question

I'm trying to figure out which of the birds Aidan was most likely associated with. Anyone got an opinion? I'm thinking owl or crane myself, but I'd welcome a more informed opinion. Thanks!

That's just it, Aidan is such a complex character, that many of the birds could fit

Looking at that, I need to head for crow! I'm starting to think Aidan's likely a hawk, too. Man, fun! Thank you for the information!

I will try to review in the mornign w2hen I'm awake, but I like crow - though possibly swan either...I haven't the details to hand.
