Yeah. It's completely appalling. Anyone who wanted to rewrite the AAA arc as 'Duncan finally takes one head too many and just LOSES IT' would have no trouble pointing out justification.
You know that got me thinking... Immortals can't be that rare then, if you start doing the math...
And yeah, so much violent deaths of friends and foe alike, can break even the bravest and strongest.
Even without the violence, living on as every mortal you ever known or loved dies and you are left behind on an every changing world. The burden of the years, a heavy cross to bear.
And the only ones who could be your sanctury, who might understand you, are willing or unwilling participants on the senseless cruel Game and you might meet each other one day on the wrong side of a blade.
Where is the peace, when not even life or death can promise it?
