Earl Scruggs has passed away.

He was an amazing banjo player, said by many to have invented three-finger picking (including by Steve Martin, who invented five-finger picking).  He also wrote a song or two that most of us would know if we heard them.  I would say rest in peace, but I suspect a pick-up band is a lot more likely if he gets a say in the afterlife.

Yeah. I pull up that Youtube video of Foggy Mountan Breakdown anytime I get bewildered looks about 'You like bluegrass?' Works like a charm.
