Actually, that might have changed a lot, really, because Aidan might have stayed in NYC for a decade or so and not moved to Seacouver... at which point I don't know when she meets Duncan, or how, and what happens to Marc.
Neat question, thanks!!

Methos takes Owian's head instead of Conner. (I.e Methos and Aidan share the double quickening instead.) And what would this do to Duncan and Aidan since they both shared double quickenings with Methos?
And, what if Aidan and Methos didn't loose each-other for a few centuries like they did?

Short term... I think Methos would have split off from the group even faster after the fight. Longer term... I think he might have vanished to Tibet, or Chile, or South Africa and just stayed gone until he had some balance back. The more I think about it, the more I think two double quickenings, with both the other people still alive, would be really rough.
And I have no idea what that would have done if Aidan and Methos hadn't lost touch. Might have been a lot easier on Rihana. Might have given Aidan somewhere to lean occasionally, given Methos somewhere to circle back to before he had Duncan.
::cheerful:: Interesting questions -- thanks!
