Huh. A lot of the treats involved SG flavors. Interesting.

Sure, why not? The explanation for why Joe was in Colorado. Although if this is part of the Antiquities / Signal, that means so is Essentials. Hmm.

Conner's running a new age shop in Colorado Springs???? One of the most Evangelical cities in America???

Oh boy, poor Joe getting dragged into that!

These little snippets are like a tasting menu- it's only one bite but the taste is divine!

Of course, after I slept on it I realize that I'm thinking about Colorado Springs in our world.

the SG-1 universe should be more tolerant. After all they didn't elect Kinsey.

True, they didn't. And if you've got the SGC there, you've got a lot of people in and around the Springs who've learned that small differences don't matter nearly as much.

::laughing:: Plenty of martial arts schools in the area for practice, and Boulder's full of new age shops -- Colorado Springs, not as much. You know: it's a challenge.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so much!

This is awesome. I love your crossover AUs- the way you blend fandoms is very neat- you make the bits of them work together so nicely. :)

Thank you, what a lovely compliment! If you can get the little bits to fit, the bigger bits do seem a reasonable mesh. Glad you're enjoying these!

Crossovers are, honestly, my FAVORITE genre of fanfiction, and it's so freaking hard to find good oens- especially nice epic-y novel-sized ones that are arranged around a plot greater than putting the author's two favorite characters together in a romance. I like long, complex plotty fics with a bigger arc than one that's JUST about the relationships and it's something you do really well. :)

Thank you! Yeah, you can probably tell I love good crossovers, too. And I'll be honest, I want to see the characters from the different worlds interact -- if I just wanted them to work with their own canon, I wouldn't be reading a crossover -- but sometimes, I want good gen. ::grinning:: So I end up writing it sometimes to get it.

And thank you so much for the lovely feedback!

Fantastic! I love Teal'c in a new age shop. It's so great to see more of this universe. Also, you need a "rhi." in your antiquities link. ;)

::giggling:: Hell, Teal'c was having *fun* exploring a new age shop. Glad you liked it!

(And fixed the link -- many thanks for letting me know!)

::staring:: Ohmigod, I thought I answered all the feedback! So sorry!

And oh, yeah, Teal'c would be fascinated in a new age store, I think. Connor, meanwhile, *smiles* and says it's the best cover he's had for headhunting in decades. I try not to ask; he'll explain if I do. So glad you like! And thanks for catching my typo!

*wicked grin*

When was Teal'c working in a Chicago coffee shop? Did I miss something?

(did I ever mention my semi-serious theory re: the origin of Immortals? That they were the result of a genetic experiment by a renegade To'kra and/or Asgard scientist to produce a goa'uld-resistant human...)

That would be the "Signal" story, linked above.

"Essentials"? Since it isn't linked, is it in progress? If not, where can I find it?

::laughing:: Um, go 2 journal entries back. Look for HL/SG-1 Essentials: Beer & Coffee.

Oh! Of course!
*whaps herself in the forehead*

I forgot what the title was on that one . . .

Hey, no problem! Jack and Joe just think coffee and beer are essential... ;-)
