I don't know most of your other fandoms as well, but that speech from Buffy is one that immediately came to mind when I thought of in this category. There's also just something so perfect in the way it was delivered. Good picks!

Spike did get most of the good speeches in that. I was torn between this and his one about 'let's get out there and fight that evil, for... puppies.' Okay, or the conversation with Giles about 'It was no St. Crispin's Day speech.' Man, that show had some *good* snark.

Oh you've picked some awesome fandoms and characters, I love all of them. :)

I guess I'm more inclined to go LaCroix speeches as the nightcrawler. I knew he aimed them at his children/Nick, but I think in general he must have helped/consoled even - hundreds or even thousands of his radio listeners.

LaCroix's monologues probably alternately consoled and horrified hundreds, yes! Glad you liked them!

I'm right with you on Spike and Methos. I don't watch the other shows. Spike did some really good speaches. Like Methos, he got the best lines most times. Some of my favorite shows.

Yeah, honestly, those two go the really *good* speeches. (Dragon was laughing and asking why I didn't go with Spike's monologue for two, from the early Angel ep. You know, where he's watching Angel from the roof and talking about Angel's hair gel?) glad you liked!

I love that scene. That's the episode when Spike was after the ring that made vampires invincible. He and Angel had great chemistry together too.

::laughing:: I'm pretty sure Spike could have chemistry with a coffin. But yeah, that scene makes me collapse into helpless giggles every time. So what're your favorite speeches?
