That was lovely. Of course now I'm trying to remember if the movies ever told us how Jack got hold of the compass and if not, if there's any way to have him and Rebecca meet.
I don't think the movies ever say how Jack got that thing. ::amused:: And I tried to let Jack run into Rebecca, but I couldn't seem to get it to work, so I ended up with this.
::laughing:: I don't know, sorry. I'm afraid I didn't like the last two Pirates movies very much, so I just stick with the first one. Glad you liked it!
::laughing:: I don't think the Romans did leave much there. Well, okay, deliberately. By accident and/or storm, yeah, of course. The last head of the priory hid the communion vessels down by the breakwater, and I don't know if Rebecca set up shop there for a while or not. She might have; she did like the place.
I love your portrait of Rebecca here, her patience and hard work and determination, her strength and practicality and discipline, all in service to and in delightful contrast to her mysticism.
You leave the *best* feedback... thank you. I hadn't thought of it that way, and yet you're right about how I see Rebecca. That's it exactly. thank you.

I think it was at least implied that Tia Dalma gave Jack the compass... or Davey Jones was involved? somehow???
*wanders off to rewatch the Pirates movies*
