I used to walk past a Lush every morning when we lived in Edmonton. I stopped in at least twice a week. Now, we only go to Lush when we're in Banff. We have a body shop here, but that's hardly comparable.
Yeah, really just not the same. And their shipping costs are kinda high for me. So I just stock up periodically and keep a ziploc bag of 'em by the tub.
Hrm... I'm a complete bath-products-slut, so this sounded *really* great - until I saw the "walnut oil" mention. I'm allergic to walnuts, albeit I admit that's ~ingesting~, not, uh, slathering. If one is allergic internally, is one automatically allergic externally? I'd guess yes, and certainly I'm not willing to risk the massive hives on a bet that it would be otherwise....
Hmm. There should be a LUSH in town for you, although their shops are pretty overwhelming to the nose. ::grin:: Short version: I'm sure they could find you something. But you might be better off browsing the website to figure out what you want and then going in with a list. And checking all the labels. They are good about warnings, at least.
Speaking as a life-long allergy sufferer, a food allergy does NOT automatically translate into a skin allergy. Mind you, it *is* entirely possible to have both!
If there's a store near you, why not explain the situation to them, and ask them if you can rub some of it across the back of a hand, or on an arm, to see if you have a negative reaction to it?
Ceridwen's Cauldron is a staple of my Lush drawer. It's a great drawer, I keep all my bed linen in there and I love the way everything smells when it comes out! If you shave your legs C'sC is brill for doing that in too...
Do they still have the bit about not spitting in the water to cancel the spell in the description?
Nope, they took that out of the description, and yeah, it was great for shaving my legs in. ::grins:: What else do you tend to stock? I love the Bohemian soap, and the Olive oil, and the Marathon bars were one of my staples.
