A couple years ago, I wrote an afterword (or, um, 17K of afterword; oops?) to the Full Metal Alchemist movie: Conqueror of Shambala. It was HL/FK/FMA/Hammer films (yeah, I know, but it actually worked; you kinda had to be there), and it was called

I do wonder though--if all of Ed and Al's clothing came from the other side of the gate, what about the clothing from their home side which they left on the other? And, what happened to the snakes, which came from both sides?
And I see that there's still room for a sequel, since there is still that one snake left on the other side . . .
(Nice implications, too. If you ever do the sequel, maybe we can see more?)

Most of the snakes are in the world gate and no problem. (Well, other than the problem of half a dozen young dragons being in the world gate....) And yeah, I left the one snake there to give myself room for a sequel, but I doubt I'll write it honestly. ::rueful:: It *is* the Depression in Germany. I do not give that snake good odds of survival.
And I enjoy FMA, but I have no idea if I'll be writing more or not. Glad you liked this (and the implications; I will admit to being an Ed/Roy 'shipper) and thanks for the lovely feedback!

No, though, Hammer films did some of the definitive horror of the day including Dracula movies in black and white that *still* terrify me to this day. If you've ever seen a Dracula movie that starts with someone's throat being cut over a pile of dust in a crypt to resurrect Dracula... you've seen a Hammer film.
Does this help?

And now I have to reread the story again, since I'm not sure I imagined that slashy vibe between Roy and Ed. =D
