::nodding:: And on daily physical training/education, and regular schedule. Yeah. Christ, though, Kate, that article says 70% of the US population between 17 and 24, per the Army, has a jail record, no GED, or is physically unfit to *start* boot. (And those stats aren't broken out in this article; I wonder what the details look like.) Is it just me, or is that inverted from when we were in high school?

I wish, based on the representative 120 undergrads I have in my class, that this surprised me.

And these are college students.

My ankle I currently can't stand on, because I aggravated an injury I got when I was 12 that never saw sufficient medical attention, puts me in that 70%.

::nodding:: I sprained my ankles enough times in high school that I'd have had no trouble dodging a draft. But if you couldn't get sufficient medical attention, that means the system didn't work for you either. I'm sorry your ankle's giving you that bad a time.
