Christ, though, Kate, that article says 70% of the US population between 17 and 24, per the Army, has a jail record, no GED, or is physically unfit to *start* boot. (And those stats aren't broken out in this article; I wonder what the details look like.) Is it just me, or is that inverted from when we were in high school?
