Two quick Halloween story recommendations

First, the Firefly fic, written for this year's Spook_Me challenge (which I forgot to sign up for, blast it! Oh, well, September was busy...): " Isolation" by bluflamingo. Trips like this are enough to make Mal resolve never to take passengers again.

And second, the SGA fic: " Wanderer," by boochicken. Getting an explanation of earth customs can take some doing
