Um, killabeez, falzalot, y'all promised last year to remind me not to play in Yuletide. Er, remind me? Also, I cannot possibly be the only person who wants Bunny Wigglesworth/Alcalde BDSM from Zorro the Gay Blade -- right? Last, and hopefully least, I found something like twelve pages of notes on Plus Ca Change and I'm actually going, "Huh. I could maybe go ( Read more... )

um, I'd like to know how Plus Ca Change ends...even though it's a pretty creepy fic....there's a fascination with "how are they gonna get out of this" going on...

BTW, I've been rereading the Line Wars fics, and they hold up pretty well...

I know how I want Plus Ca Change to end, but I'm not at all sure I can get it there. Imagine my surprise, though, when 11 pages of conversation/brainstorming/'try to shape it this way' notes was a surprise!

Cool, thanks! Those were the first things I wrote after 11 years of not writing. I keep having this urge to go edit them and clean them up to my current standards, and I keep swatting it down again since they were the best I could do at the time.

well, I saw in the other comments that working on it gives you nightmares, so please don't torture yourself, okay? I mean, I can certainly live without it if you decide never to finish it, and anything you write is worth reading, so basically whatever your next project is--yay!

and please don't change the Line Wars stories. I'd rather you work on new stuff! ::grins::

Yes, I noticed that they seem a tad clunkier than I remembered from the first reading (where I was just buzzing along on the sheer breadth and wonderfulness of your ideas!), but on the whole they're still very readable and enjoyable.

The Highlander fandom owes you laurels for coming up with the idea of immortal "families" composed of teachers and their students. (and then the idea of Line Wars itself is awesome and somewhat scary.) In a way, the idea of immortal families goes against canon, which seems to be all about death and the destruction of all you hold dear and the idea that love and family are weaknesses that will get you killed. (that seems to me a very ( ... )

I didn't get around to replying to this somehow. All I can say is thank you.

Consider yourself reminded. :->

I'm still tempted, but the stress levels are so high right now I'm thinking it would be a BAD IDEA.

Thanks. And yeah, your stress levels are through the roof right now, understandably! Your poor cat! {{hugs}}

Well, I have no words as far as you doing Yuletide (though I'm going to try my hand at it this year....) though I can certainly see Bunny/Alcalde :-).

As far as the other, I'll read essentially anything you write in the Highlander universe, and I really, really like your Kastagir resurrection story, so, why not?

Oh, God, there needs to be Bunny/Alcalde BDSM. Really, really needs to be.

Thanks! ::cheerful:: I have notes for all of them, you see, and five-fifteen pages started of all of them. Now I just need to finish some of them...

I'd like the end to it. Every once in a while I read it and get creeped out again. An ending would be good.

Yup, I remember. And you're right, thanks!

Yeah, it was giving me nightmares, but, er, a dozen pages of notes?

::nodding:: That one is *also* in progress. Gah! {{hugs}} Thank you! (::bemused:: Have you seen how many of the folks at HL Shortcuts have Matthew on either their 'love to write' or 'won't write' lists? This is kind of bizarre, at least to me.)
