Has anyone watched the Divia eps lately? Wikipedia shows her as not being LaCroix's daughter but treated as an adopted daughter, and I'm not so sure. ::amused:: What I'm actually trying to figure out is whether 'Lucius Divius' is canon or fanon, so that I can sort out his name for this fic. Any help, and sources for that info if possible, would

Yeah, this is a really late comment, but what the heck :)

Yes, Divia was his biological daughter. Her mother was the madam of the brothel the scenes took place in. There was much discussion on the FK email list at the time it aired (and Nigel Bennett was still on the list then, and I seem to recall him commenting) (or it might have been at a con -- the memory is hazy) about Roman familial relationships and things that were in the original script that didn't make it in. Lucius was the mother's most prominent 'benefactor', and while it was known Divia was his daughter, due to her mother's station, it wasn't officially acknowledged, hence the 'your daughter' line.

(I've watched AtA and AMPH so many times for fic, I can practically recite them now! [g] )
