*SPLURF!*

I just laughed so loud Eric had to come in and say 'ok, what's so funny?'

I told him, he rolled his eyes and added 'what, you didn't recognize Dr. Atkins?'

Of course with the set up for next week my thoughts were 'Angst-fest!'

And apparently you can get BloodTies on iTunes. So if you can't record it you can pay for the privilege of watching it.

Really liking the writing on this show, now I need some Icons for it.

::nodding:: I think they're doing a good job. ::wry:: Could wish Mike'd used his brains instead of his hormones with this Javier, but oh, well.

::giggling:: That comment had to be shared. Sorry about any coffee!

I never drink coffee while reading LJ, only sip while waiting for pages to load.

*g*

I think Mike is trying to be a good cop, and good cops don't let murderers get off scot-free, even if the crime was committed years ago. His thought is 'vampire=murderer', and he can't let it go.

Mmm. That's just it, though -- how did Mendoza know to show up at the crime scene, then show up at the police precinct to ask Mike, specifically, about Henry? That's too much insider info, and Mike should have taken that nice envelope with Mendoza's prints and had them run through the database. Not to mention find out *which* church, and get some references, and otherwise be thoroughly suspicious. Mike *is* a cop, and serial killers frequently try to involve themselves in the police investigations and Mike should know this. ::shrugs:: Yeah, he's not going to be happy that Henry kills... but Mike shouldn't be handing people over to vigilantes or vendettas, either. Particularly if he doesn't know which it is...
