YAY! You like it! My job here is done! ::giggling:: The parting shot, Joe assures me, was a moral imperative. (As he stumps off, muttering about 'honor between soldiers' and 'semper fi and I'd have shot the bastard...')

Thanks for the mad inspiration!

I clicked on this not knowing anything about the other set of characters, but knowing I'd enjoy it anyway. And I was right. The characters seem to fit, but I'd probably do better knowing more about the others. I was surprised at how short it was though. NOT a complaint though. Made a nice break from due-date panic.

::laughing:: I knew Joe wasn't going to let that band of maniac white knights in his bar. Things end up blown up around them. It was kind of nice to end up with a *short* fic for once!

Glad you liked it, and thanks for trying it when you didn't know A-Team!

Definitely fun!

No way Joe is going to be suckered by those guys!

Thanks for the short-but-sweet!

::laughing:: You're welcome. Yeah, that was not long, but Joe wasn't *about* to let them in his bar! (And then the Army/Marine rivalry showed up...)

It's just like Joe to leave me feeling like I missed a whooooole lot of context. He may have a non-millenial lifeline, but he packs a whole lot 'o history into it.

I was trying to keep this to a drabble, but 100 words wasn't working. Then I cleaned it down to 200 and went, 'Done!' ::amused:: I'm with you -- boy is there some context/history there! But keeping them out was smart, definitely!

"You army. Me marine."

They both grunt?

Loved it - serious silliness.

::grins:: Glad you liked it! Really, though, can you imagine Joe letting them in his bar?
