It'll go up in rough draft tonight, since I'm late for the contest deadline, and I'll put up a clean(er) version on my site tomorrow. Off to beta a fic and do webpages

Sorry to hear you're not doing Yuletide, though it sounds like you have enough else on your plate.

Have you read any of Patricia Wrede's novels, by any chance? I have a 12,000 word triple-crossover that I'm going to need beta'd soon. It was supposed to be a New Year's Resolution story, but I left it a bit too late, so I'm going to hold onto it either for a pinch-hit or a very early 2007 NYR.

Yes, I've read several of them, although not recently. And you may not be able to use it as a 2007 NYR; they removed the previous year's requests after each Yuletide. Something about the way the drop down menus are propagated, I think. Anyway, yell when it's done and I can probably get to it, but if I'm swamped, I'll let you know!

It's a fairly generic request, so I figure there's a good chance it'll fit somewhere, especially since it would count for either Mairelon the Magician or the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. If not, there's always Rarelitslash and the like.

It's done as soon as I type in the epilogue, which is already written out long-hand. I'll let you know. And thanks.
