Yeah, that's what I always say. Then there's "reading some of the good fic just to try to get the voices down", then it's "awww, those two are so *cute* together!" and then it's "Now what's the address of that archive again?"

Oh, I know where the fic is, that's the only reason I'm doing this much research; I'm contemplating a crossover and would prefer not to screw it up. I'm safe; this is a one-night stand type of thing. ;->
