People who cannot spell should not write graffiti. It doesn't matter where, either. (Before anyone has to ask, 'horny' does *not* have an 'e' in it.) Damn it, I want literate vandals ( Read more... )

The scene were Brian as his initiation into the PFJ has to write "Romans go Home" in Latin on the wall, and the Roman guard catches him and corrects his Latin.

::groan:: I had completely forgotten that. But unless I'm *very* mistaken... the soldiers' graffiti at Pompei had tons of words spelled incorrectly, including the Latin for 'fuck.' ::shaking head, amused:: Gotta love it.

beeej made it for me, out of the kindness of her heart. Isn't it great?

Good luck; ignoring mine doesn't work. They just keep talking.

I've read about the first, um, five or six, the ones they reprinted in a graphic novel. I liked Jon Sable. I just can't write him. Thanks for the news, though; my husband liked that series too!

(sigh) I'd love to know where the original pictures for this icon came from, and I don't mean Peter. :)

Oh. And while I'm on the subject, does anyone know how I get Methos (and various other immortals in my head) to quit snickering about Roman soldiers who also couldn't spell profanity?

*evil grin* Threaten them with a new fandom. I could always yousendit you some Brimstone or House episodes.

::winces:: You *know* me: I'd end up doing crossovers. I'm not doing House, and sooner or later I'll get to Brimstone. Gods help us all.

Well, the Vandals were barbarians, right?

As for Methos, threaten him with yet another Sentinel crossover pairing him with Blair Sandburg. (I could see him appreciating Sandburg's intelligence, but the two of them as a couple? I can't see it.)

I never watched Sentinel, so I can't use that as a threat. Now, I could threaten to have him host Oil. That might get his attention.

Out? Dunno... I'm ravenously reading in an attempt to get your immortals *into* my head. Aidan's character is just... brilliant.

Oh, they never shut up completely. It's just a really irritating snicker or six. Glad you're enjoying the stories!
