Connor MacLeod is a lying, cheating, swindling, sheep-mugging bastard of a muse.

Yes. As a matter of fact it *is* Int'l Talk Like A Pirate Day. Yes, Connor *was* a gun-runner.

But damn it all, I am *not* helping him steal The Black Pearl!

::amused:: Too many stories on my plate just now. Besides. The Black Pearl is conspicuous! Last thing Connor needs. Really!

::giggling:: He pretends to be. Or pretends to be something else. The Black Pearl doesn't pretend about much of anything, drat it. Thanks, though!

Conspicuous. Noticeable. Cursed. No, no, he can do something more sensible. Like want to avenge Ramirez, or go drinking with Kastagir, or, well, anything, really....

Maybe Kastagir needs/wants the Pearl, and Connor's helping him out? Maybe Jack lost it again, and either Connor or Katagir owes him one?

And katfairy's right -- Robert de Valicourt should be in there somewhere!

Y'know, put a mummy in this and it could be your Halloween story.....

::groaning:: It's a *perfect* Valicourt/Kastagir fic, and I'm *still* not writing it. Oh, crap. Farrell, don't help them. NO!

Eep. No. Must design webpages. Bye!

Connor's been a smuggler and a gun-runner. He's not exactly the nicest of men, in some ways. Honorable, in his own way, but it *is* his way.

Yeah, but see, he and Jack could then get drunk on rum and it would be like that flashback to the eighteenth-century duel. Only better, because there would be Jack!

I'd read it.

::g:: But would you write it?

Nope. I'm afraid you're stuck with that particularly aquatic literary rodent.

No, I managed to successfully give it away. Thank goodness. ;->
