Fic: Bedtime Stories

To anyone searching my LJ today for a "Hey There, Blondie Bear" update, I’m sorry, but it’s not ready yet!  I got distracted this weekend by Game of Thrones and some unexpected family obligations.  Have some short domestic!Spuffy schmoop instead?  It works for either far-in-the-future post-NFA Spuffy or far-in-the-future comics!Spuffy.

That was beautiful. I could so see Spike doing that. I mean seriously Daddy Spike?! He would be great at it. Evil, not evil or even souled he would kick ass as a dad. What wouldn't he do for his girl?

Thank you! I agree that Spike would be a devoted father in any incarnation. He'd move heaven and earth for his child.

AWWW.

I really don't have anything to add. Just AWWWW.

Also, your choice of final reading amuses me. (Random head!canon: Dawn remembers getting the first book as a gift from Ted.)

(Ack, oh no, that must leave such bad connotations, though!)

Aw so adorable!! I especially loved the choice of Harry Potter as reading material.

:) Glad you liked it! HP is my favorite thing in the entire world, so of course my head!canon versions of the characters must love it, too. Thanks for reading!

Oh me too. My two favourite things in the world are HP and Buffy. :)

They're both so wonderful! It goes HP, Star Trek, and then BtVS for me. HP has my favorite characters and story, BtVS has my favorite relationship (Spuffy, natch), and ST is, well, what I grew up on. :)

Mmm hmmm. This is how it goes. (Of course, I didn't mist up at all, remembering reading all seven books aloud to McDiva.)

:) Glad it rings true for an actual parent. Thanks for reading! (I can't wait to read the books to my children, although I do have some experience already because I read GoF to my little brother when he was six.)
