Aaaaahhhhh. The Nathan/Claire breakfast scene was so sweet! I love seeing them together :)
I love Peter's "listening" expression, too; it's too lovely for words *sigh*
"But remember that you're more than just a cheerleader." Peter's words to Claire remind me of Tim Kring's (I think it was him) response to the audience question at this year's Comic Con about getting female characters on the show who aren't cheerleaders or strippers :)
She sees how Peter ( ... )

Glad I got you to like/dislike the dream. When I was writing it, I kept thinking, "Oh, poor Claire, why am I doing this to her?" but I really feel like Claire will have this fear Peter choosing someone or something else over her. Since their connection is so tense and he's her hero, I see her as her wanting him to herself. And even if the writers choose to keep their relationship non-romantic, I can still see it this way. Look at how pissed she got when he (sort of, kind of) chose Nathan over her in the finale.
Glad you liked the Nathan/Claire scene, too! Their relationship is really, really interesting to write. :)

Hee, did you notice that I had Peter crouching down and looking up at her again? :D

You have, but thank you very much for saying it again *hugs*

I did! And I love it even more every time it happens (TPTB, take note!) :)
Ha, what did Kring say? :)
I can't recall exactly, and I'm not sure now which of the 7 Heroes Comic Con vids it's in, but his response was somewhere along the lines of Peter's, that Claire's more than just a cheerleader (and Niki's more than what she does and also that the show's about all these characters finding their inner strength). Something like that :)
And I'm thrilled you liked the hug - I was half-afraid people were going to be like, "But why does she feel disgusted? She's supposed to love hugging him!" but I really wanted to bring across that the uncle/niece thing can be really off putting, especially to Peter and Claire. :)It's completely realistic, heck, even almost necessary, that Claire ( ... )

Is it wrong that I'm rooting for Paire to get together? LOL.
You've done a fantastic job with writing the characters, and getting the points and emotions across flawlessly. You've really mananged to make me feel for the characters and their trouble.
I look forward to seeing your next chapter.

Of course not! That's what you're supposed to be rooting for! :)
I'm so glad you like my writing of the characters. It's what I try to be really good at. :D
Thanks so much for reviewing! Out of curiousity, how did you come across this fanfic? :)

I'm so so glad that you're liking the way I'm developing Paire. Too often when I read fanfics for these two, their feelings kind of come out suddenly or it's talked about how they've been in love since they first laid eyes on each other. I personally don't think that's true; I think that theirs is a relationship that would develop slowly, especially because of the age/related factors. :)
And, yay, you like the Nathan/Claire stuff! Once again, I don't think he would cold and indifferent towards her like he is in a lot of fanfics, nor do I think she'd be that way with him. They'd be a little hesitant around each other, I think, but they do want to get to know each other. :)
I've never really liked or disliked Simone, but I've always appreciated what her character showed us about Peter - how when he falls for someone, he falls hard, stuff like that. :)
Again, thanks so much for reviewing! I hope you enjoy the next installment when it's up. :)

You're gob smacked again, huh? ;)
Glad you're liking this, hon, as always. :D
Oh, and speaking of the RR, would you like to be my beta? I should probably have my part written within the next couple of days (so nervous about that 'cause I'm responsible for writing about that woman's powers), so I can send it to you afterwards. And I'm sure you'll do brilliantly with your part. :D
