Any sort of conversation I've ever attempted to have with her has resulted in a migraine for me. I can handle the words "like" and "um" only so many times in a sentence before I feel the need to bash my head against something.

It was more directed at Draco since his comment was the most rude. Yeah, Lavander may not be the most brilliant person but she is really nice.

All the stupid and dumb jokes people say about her are not really nice and comment by Draco are why I don't like most Slytherins.

But some of your other comments to her were sarcastic and acting as if she was of lower mind than you. I just treat all people who treat me nicely and with respect the same way back, no matter how briliant or not they may be.

That is what many people say as a reason behind or to not make themselves feel guilty when they say mean things to people.

Instead of being sarcastic and looking down on her just explain things to her like I did. And she understood perfectly what I said.
