It mostly caught my eye because 23 used to be my favorite number. I had this dillusion as a kid, that at the age of 23, I'd either have the best year, or the worst year of my life. I just KNEW it would be memorable.

Well, it was. Everything fell apart! But I guess that's how it goes. Things need to totally break down before you can rebuild them the way you want them to be. So I don't know if I love 23 or hate 23 now. Leaning more toward hating it, but when all is said and done, it may be my favorite again.

Wow, that was completely off any topic.

Yes, if I ever have plans to visit the UK, I will most definitely keep you informed. I WILL make it there one of these days. Is there ever a good time for pleasant weather? I have enough pea soup fog here during the winter!

the good time here for pleasant weather is beginning NOW. at long bloody last. we're back to thin-fleece-and-tshirt weather, it'll be t-shirts and bare chests in a month or so, and a blessed long time before the winter of two-tshirts-and-three-fleeces which we've just left. Edinburgh Festival (which is anything up to 12 or so festivals all concurrent) happens in August, usually for the first three weeks, and is pretty spectacular ( ... )

Weeeellll, the weather here is gorgeous about 8 months out of the year, so come anytime! You'd probably love it here any way it was served to you. I thank my lucky stars every day that I get to live in such a beautiful place. As pathetic as it sounds, sometimes it makes me wanna cry when I'm driving to the beach, thinking about how cool it is to get to live right on the edge of an entire continent. Yeah, I'm a cheeseball. :P
