Retconing like woah, review of Otaku no Video

Waaay back in October (so that's half a year ago - how time files :O) I did the anime meme thingy, where each day of the month you answer some question. I'd completely forgotten about it until a comment from a Russian spam bot reminded me of this entry - the anime crush one

Lol, yeah, it's fun to see how opinions can change through time XD

The idea of it sounds really cool, Otaking, wow XDD But it looks like the execution leaves much to be desired... Not sure whether I'll watch it, the characters don't seem so appealing.

Yeah, that's why it's worth having a journal :D Old posts are usually very amusing after a few months or years xD

I've been thinking about the OnV characters and I came to the conclusion that maybe they were supposed to be that unlikable... The film is very rough on the otaku way of life so maybe the characters themselves were supposed to be nasty like that as well? However, the real problem is that nasty or not they were boring. I can watch a show about obnoxious people as long as they're interesting. These guys just weren't.

Yeah, although usually they are more embarrassing than amusing, at least to me XDD

True, even nasty characters can be interesting, but boring characters is just not something I want to see in my anime :D

Yeah, this week has been really crazy. For once not really because of my studies, but a ton of social engagements. Not that it was a bad thing :), but I'm a bit tired now.

I tend to find lots of old embarassing posts of mine at one of the Polish Bollywood forums I'm a member of. I used to be such a noob :DxD
