You probably think I mean to comment on the story about AT&T Wireless spending $4 Billion to change their name to Cingular, and now spending $2 Billion to change Cingular's name to AT&T Wireless. For the second month in a row, a hospital gave me a perfect score on a customer satisfaction survey (last month was a different hospital). Please, make it stop! This is WORSE than an overnight shift at Dial hearing the same bar from "Thriller" over and over and over and over again.

The guy I work with on weekends has set up Yahoo Music and has been grabbing tunes. That's not a horrible thing. He left for lunch with Air Supply in a loop... AIR SUPPLY!!!!!

Something is seriously amiss at the Circle K folks - the startup for the morning was less than 'good', but since I've arrived at work, everything's been prety darned OK. Now I realize that the time period in question is just about an hour, but it's a start ( Read more... )

Since I know you're all curious, the heat index for my work location at 8pm this evening was 144. 63% humidity and 102.7F. Fortunately, I wasn't out there very much at all today. I mostly stayed down in the dungeon. I think I put in a whole 2 hours up on the surface outside. The peak temperature I saw out there was 105F or so. Hey, lemme go ( Read more... )
