Gwendal woke up after a safe night in his double's quarters, surprised that Anissina didn't hunt him down.
Feeling refreshed, if not a little anxious, he made his way cautiously through the palace corridors, on his way to the kitchens.

She has more healing maryoku in her pinky than the lot of them put together! Fragile, she is not.
Oh well. They just care too much. And about someone they don't even really know. It is sweet. Really, it is. But she isn't at all used to being treated like she's helpless.

He turned to greet the female voice and stared for a long moment before he could find words, his shock too great. Was this Suzanna Julia? Wait, Suzanna Julia, Conrad's old love and Yuuri's soul's previous holder had returned, but her eyes were different.
This woman had light behind her blue eyes, not the glazed white look of a blind person. "Hello," he replied with a slight nod of his head. "You must be the Lady Wincott of another world."

Servants are busy preparing breakfast for late arrivals, such as himself and Zan. One of the servants spots him and hurries to him, bowing quickly. "Sir von Walde, what would you like for breakfast this morning?"
Gwendal gestures towards the woman at his side. "Whatever it is Lady Wincott would like," he answers. It is then that he realizes he doesn't know this Zan, hopefully she doesn't order something hideous. It was always difficult to tell with these other-worlders.
