Thanks, we'll check the target.

A will likely enjoy the gymnastics. M is gonna miss her new friend when the little girl starts preschool! :(

It's now a tiny little red spot.... all that worry over nothing. *sigh*

yeah, i'm worried about A missing his school friends... one of them stays with her grandparents during the day and they live at the end of our block - so i'm sure he'll at least get to see her. we didn't get into the playdates that most of the other kids did because it's so hard with ben. alex was one of the only ones with a younger sibling.

well, i'm glad it's gone!

Hanna Andersson makes knit boxers. Lands End makes woven ones. Hope that helps.

I've also heard that a calcium-magnesium supplement can help with leg cramps. I was told that when I was pregnant with Niels.

Thanks for the links. I like the look of the woven ones, they just look so roomy and comfy! LOL! I may see if I can find a pattern for them and that way we could get some girly material and they might just appeal to her! LOL!

I've heard the calcium link for charley horse/crampy type issues. Mine is more of a muscle ache than a cramp and for some reason around the time I get them, I crave bananas to the extent of dreaming about them! LOL! Within a few hours of a banana attack (eating one) the muscle ache starts to release... hence the thought it might be potassium. (yes I know I'm crazy!LOL!)

And I thought the knit ones sounded more comfy. To each their own! :)

I thought the calcium/magnesium was supposed to help because the problem isn't a lack of some mineral but the balance being off. That said, my grandmother used to always have leg cramps and ate bananas for them, so I can't argue with that. :)

Muscle cramping is partially due to potassium deficiency. Not sure about the ca/mg balance bit.

From Go Ask Alice:

It is also possible that you are having an electrolyte imbalance, particularly of the minerals sodium, potassium, and chloride. A low sodium diet, coupled with high perspiration losses or with persistent vomiting/diarrhea, can deplete your body of sodium. The results of both a sodium and potassium deficiency can be muscle cramps.

No underpants for your DD? Remember when boxers were really "in" in the early 90's? One of my friends who wasn't clued in to the fad was appalled that I was wearing them b/c she didn't know that I also had underwear underneath! haha

Ha no... she likes to sleep with a bare bum! LOL! so I figure the loose fitting boxers would be comfy and we could solve both problems.

Everett used to wear boxers as underwear and yes, they are available in a variety of fabrics and patterns at target. You may need to put a stitch, or a dab of fabric glue on the fly so it doesn't gape open though as real boxers have a real fly! Sometimes you can find styles that have a button on the fly but most of the inexpensives ones don't.

Enjoy the reading, I am envious!

I think if you crave something so bad you dream about it, you should eat it! When I was pregnant with one of the boys I had a series of dreams about chocolate doughnuts. The dreams were always about wanting one but not being able to get one! When I finally woke up, after at least 3 separate dreams that night about the elusive choco-doughnuts, I made Dan take me to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast! Granted, dreaming about bananas is way healthier! And probably is because of the sore muscles, so all the better reason to eat them! Now, when you start dreaming about cheesecake, give me a call and I'm coming over!

LOL! I don't think I've ever dreamed of bad food, it usually bananas or oranges and I usually have an explanation given at the time of the dream too... scientific mind?? who knows! LOL!

I'll definitely check out the boxers and see what we can find. I'll probably have to put a stitch or two in the waistband anyway, so a couple in the fly would be a breeze! :)
