Germany, not so much

So my trip to Germany later this month is not happening after all. Before I investigate what my options are for rebooking the plane ticket, I thought I would put some feelers out for where I might go, i.e. who wants potentially to be visited

You're welcome to visit LA and stay with me. I understand that LA probably isn't what you had in mind though.

On a related note, I'm thinking of a road trip somewhere in the next few months. Colorado doesn't seem all that out of reach.

Yes to both/either! :) I am acquiring a futon tomorrow so I'm increasing my number of things that can be slept on in anticipation of guests....

Let's assume no -- this will end up being a good thing, as I won't need to use a week of vacation time I don't yet have accrued and I can take a smaller vacation somewhere else, also saving some money.

They are going back as fast as they arrive.

The problem is that I wanted something inexpensive and "in stock" so that they could be delivered immediately, so they aren't really what I would want for myself -- they would have been for marching only.
