Fully agree - I was there on the 18th and it was terrible. It really did annoy me at times. Why people can't wait until the music comes on when there are scene changes, I do not know!
My husband was with me and he was recovering from flu, but I had come prepared with fishermans friends type sweets, but I'd taken them out of their plastic packaging and put them in an old material purse so getting them out was near as dammit silent. The woman next to me had the cold from hell and kept coughing throughout, accompanied by the terrible snot ridden sniff after each round of coughing. She said at the beginning that she had a box of Fruit Pastilles ..... they definitely don't stop her coughing as she said they would, quite the contrary. The two serious theatre goers in the front row of the dress circle were not happy and kept turning and giving her dirty looks.
It really doesn't take much to come prepared, does it?
