Just adding on my two unnecessary cents to L'il Joe's post.  While Joe and I debated a lot over the many items that would make it into our top ten--and there are quite a few options and choices that are still up for debate, I know--there was one thing that was never in doubt:

Pesci is gay.

Okay, maybe there were two things that were never in doubt ( Read more... )

Urg! What an annoying podcast. undercovermikey December 24 2010, 11:04:34 UTC
NAB's posted a link to an especially annoying podcast featuring GRR. Ignoring my complaints about the presenters and the interview sitting right at the end of the podcast, the interview was like a bunch of NAB posts. It's a litany of the side projects and distractions that take up GRR's time, even featuring a discussion about the Giants, with the only nod to ASOIAF being a brief mention of the Meereenese knot that the presenter apologised for asking about!

Hope no one else wastes their time with this.

Yeah, it's so funny how the presenter "apologized" for asking about ASOIAF. So much about Martin reminds me of little character flaws I see in a million different people. Case in point, when Martin is interviewed on these podcasts they don't throw any fastballs/curve balls at him. Every question is almost pre-approved or something. It's like Sarah Palin going on FOX news, Hannity or whoever will put on the kid gloves and only ask the easy questions to make her look good. Oh and if I've offended any of you by smack-talking FOX or Palin, I "apologize".

I'm sure anyone who's looked for them have probably seen these, but some Ice and Fire stills from the show landed on IGN.com

I think I'd be more excited to find out who's going to replace the original actor for the Spartacus show then discover how different everyone looks from what I imagined them to be like in the book.
