I would have preferred a sculpt of Brienne hanging from a tree. Oh well, I'm sure this won't be the last miniature of her we see, so let's all keep our fingers crossed.

I thought it would be a good idea especially with the start of the new year to hear about everyone's favorite books. Hey, we can't spend all of our time waiting for George to finish or begin A Dance with Dragons. So here are some of my facorite books. I'd love to hear your recommendations. Also a note, the list doesn't have to be scifi/fantasy. I think everyone here likes historical fiction, action, mystery as well. Also it doesn't have to be 10 books. I'd be happy with just 5 recommendations that are good then 10 that suck

You posted this in the last thread. Are you hoping for more responses again or is this a lame attempt to direct people's annoyance from an increasingly popular site about GRRM's lack of delivery?
Interestingly, Google takes a shine to this blog in connection to GRRM. ;)

BTW, I'm the guy who wrote the above comment. The truth is, I don't read books written by anyone besides my soul mate George Martin. The closest I get to reading in the past 4 years is the comments on this blog. As you noticed, I read and put onto postcards each and every comment from the 188 replies in the last post. I then matched them and found that your was written twice. So I had to blurt it out. As you may have noticed, I didn't state any good books to read because George Martin is all I read. No wonder I come here all the time like a fanatic. I haven't read anything in 4 years.
