I'm Nacho Editor and I'm Nacho Friend!

It took me a few days to fully digest Ray’s last post and realize how outmatched I have been the last 20-30 years. Can any of you imagine dealing with this kid on a daily basis? Anyway, nice job little brudder, every once in awhile we have to deviate from our good times in order to address those that still feel the need to kiss Papa Bear’s ass.

We all know George uses really crappy marketing strategies to sell his crap. Here's a little analysis:
http://krkreuk.livejournal.com/7369.html

It looks like some of George's fans are kind of calling him on his crap on NAB. People are questioning the value of his damaged "numbered copies" and people are saying how you can get signed on copies on Amazon for a lot less. (and they aren't damaged)

As I noted in krkreuk's livejournal, that was a very nicely detailed article, and I encourage all who come here to go read it. Maybe it will open the eyes of some people about the marketing tactics of The Man.

Notice, however, that the Fat Man does not respond to the most direct comment about this and why his copies cost more than the books from Amazon. Ultimately, people's complaints end up as so much hot air because he simply pays them no heed and trundles on regardless, secure in the unquestioning bosom of his white knights.

Also notice the avatar accompanying GRRM's latest post on NAB. Now less attractive than ever.

That is why I prefer this author over others, subtle tip of the cap to the thing everyone wonders about. Keep up the great work boss, will definitely check out this book when it comes out."

Wow. Just wow. It's like he's trying to piss me off.

Excellent stuff Pesci. My personal favourite was "Then the fight stopped, because the Viper broke his glasses."

I read this at work and had to run to the bathroom because i couldn't stop laughing.
