Ed Bryant Talks Wild Cards

Last August the hardcover of HIGH STAKES, the most recent Wild Cards mosaic novel, was released by Tor. We launched the book at MidAmericon II in Kansas City with a huge mass signing sponsored by Rainy Day Books. Very affecting. This made me want to read Wild Cards, but it made me want that less than I want to read any transcript of any meeting of the Wild Cards authors. You must be real friends, and such sparkling people.

To stay on topic, what did Ed Bryant write outside of Wild Cards that you'd recommend?

He made his name with short stories, never wrote a novel. Try one of his collections.

Such a shame we'll never read about Vagabond and her two cats. What a great idea for a story, I can't get the possibilities out of my head tonight...

You can read about Bagabond in a number of early WC books - Wild Cards, Jokers Wild... and Sewer Jack is there as well.
