Congratulations to the three of you!
As a longtime fan, I want to thank you for always introducing both old and new writers alike. Good luck at the awards! :)

Congrats George! I just downloaded Old Venus as an audiobook. It sounds beautiful and reads great. Was wondering if Petyr Baelish has his own House Words. Do you have words you live by?

Sincerely ,

A big fan who will keep reading, listening, and watching.

Even the Spanish title -- "El Mundo de Hielo y Fuego" -- sounds very cool!

Also, the cover of "El Mundo d Hielo y Fuego" looks great! By the way: Are there also Awards for the cober designs?

It's a fantastic cover from Corominas, it's true... and the amazing thing, it's not the only cover! That's the dustjacket cover, but here is the endpaper (the part on the right serves as the exterior cover as well).

I don't think the Ignotus has an art component, but if it did, I know I'd be rooting for Corominas to take it for his work. Just noticed that there is an illustration award. Corominas is nominated for a separate work, so that makes us very happy.

Steampunk-ish? ext_3644561 May 4 2016, 06:47:13 UTC
Are Old Mars and Old Venus somewhat akin to Steampunk? Or as I like to call it "TechAntique". I have an appreciation for some of that, as long as it doesn't get too dark. I recall a book review referring to Old Mars, implying it was in that vein. Is that accurate?

Some of the stories might be described as steampunk, I suppose, but over all, no, the anthologies are more just retro SF.
